Development

The AAVC conducts 5 organized and coached, weekly training rides year round. These rides focus on group skills, fitness and race preparation.

During the racing season (April through October), these rides include:

• Tuesday evening criterium training rides at Runway Plaza (south of Ann Arbor Airport on South State Street);
• Wednesday night road skills rides leaving from Barton Nature Area parking lot;
• Thursday night road racing rides leaving from Barton Nature Area parking lot, 1 mile west of North Main Street on Huron River Drive;
• Saturday and Sunday road rides, leaving from Wheeler Park, Depot Street just east of North Main Street (if there is no racing scheduled).

Times are normally Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 6:00 PM; Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM. Changes in times will be posted on this web site.
