The Ann Arbor Velo Club has multiple racing teams for 2011.
The AAVC Racing team is open to all club members and includes category 2-5 racers on the road, track, and cyclocross. New for 2011 is the Development Team. It's not a separate racing team within the club but rather is a group committed to learning and improving as bike racers and is a part of the club's open AAVC Racing team.
The masters/elite team is sponsored by Two Wheel Tango and Morgan & York and is made of a small group of some of the club's strongest riders on the road, dirt, and cyclocross.
The women's team, sponsored by Pear Tree Pens, includes category 2-4 women, both those new to the sport and those who are equal parts fast and friendly.
